“NO! STOP! NO!” Angie yells as she jumps up from her seat. Carrie tries to speak again but Angie just screams again. “NO! SHUT THE FUCK UP!”

“ANGIE!” Bette and Tina yell simultaneously.

Bette tries to calm her. “Angie, let’s sit down and talk about this.” She says while trying to grab her hand but Angie brushes her off.

“NO! She is not my family. This… this is not what we’re supposed to be…”

Angie becomes more emotional and makes a quick exit, running to her room. Bette follows close behind her. “Angie… wait!” She yells as she darts up the stairs.

“Wow… wow… I wasn’t expecting that.” Carrie says obliviously to Tina, having no insight on the scene that’s just unfolded. “I thought she’d be happy for us.” She says shrugging.

“Hm…” Tina hums introspectively. “I didn’t.” Carrie looks at her confused as Tina begins to stand. “I need to go talk to Angie.”

Carrie reaches for Tina in an attempt to keep her seated. “Bette’s got her. Maybe you should give them some space?”

Tina tilts her head knowingly as if all feelings she’s been suppressing have finally clicked into place. “She just stormed out of here hurt, upset… blindsided… I’m going to go comfort my daughter. Excuse me.” She says curtly before exiting the room and making her way upstairs. When she reaches the top, she stops to gather her emotions before entering, but is stilled at the gentle tone of Bette’s voice. Concealed by the half open door, she stands and listens.

“Just breathe Boo; breathe and talk to me.” Bette is sat on the bed. She pulls Angie’s pacing body to a standstill in front of her. “Tell me how you’re feeling.”

The tears begin to fall – tears of hurt, of anger, of defeat. “It’s just not fair Mom… it’s not fair. She was supposed to come back – come back to us! I thought… I thought she just needed some time, you know. A little bit of time to remember who she is – her strength, her independence.” Angie begins to cry harder. “She wasn’t supposed to create a whole new life or fall in love with someone else. You’re supposed to be the love of her life!” Angie yells. “Remember?! That’s what you both used to tell me when I was a kid and asked about how you met and got together. Was that just a lie? Just some story to make me think love is a stupid fucking fairytale?! She feels lost and she finds herself in someone else? That’s bullshit!”

    1. I certainly hope the L Word writers are reading this!!!!!

Awesome story – so heart wrenching & then so hopeful!!!!

Angie can bring them back together & get Bette to fight for Tina.

Thank you so much for the terrific story!!!!!

    2. We need to print and send to Showtime! If they want Tibette “drama” then they can write about the sessions with Dr Foxworthy!

Or we can write some scenes of creative Tibette slap bit*^ches off off of these two!!!!

Stop tearing apart this family!!! How about A
adding some more children to the Porter-Kennard clan to increase adventure scenarios

    3. It’s a beautiful story, Thank you!

Like others i wish we could see something like that on the screen in s2 Gen. Q.

By the way – i still think that even suggest that Bette could be with them when Tina would tell Angie about her marriage was most stupid Tina’s line in that dinner in Bette’s house in GQ.

    4. Wow!!!!

How wonderful it would be if this happened in Generation Q!

I wish you were the writer for the show !!!

It was so beautiful how Bette explained to Angelica that she was responsible for making their marriage fail!

I had tears in my eyes!

I am so grateful to you for this story, to ease the pain caused by the last episode.

I really hope this will happen in the last episode or in the second season, but it probably won’t. Marja doesn’t care about Tibette and the fans. She only cares about the newbies. Those are her creations, but they are not (yet) able to make the show successful.

Thank you so much for this wonderful story!!!

    5. This is January 2020….this very well could be the best story of the year…. Wonder dialogue and storyline. I just cannot see Bette and Tina splitting permanently. I just cannot see how they would not find each other in some way or another and this story certainly shows the path. This does not mean their lives will be happily ever after, but it sure gives all of us TiBette fans hope. Bette and Tina love each other and always will. It’s just a matter of creating a relationship in which they can live together.

      Wonderful…Wonderful Wonder.
