    First Evil: “yes…, but in two hours everybody must be positioned on their locations, ready for the invasion, now let’s eat”

     

    Somewhere in between space and time – probably 3:00 am. Wednesday, February 19, 2059 – Lab in the wormhole.

     

    The Lab in the wormhole is crowded, all the members of the support group are in their posts and the warriors are ready for combat. Louise has been on her feet since 1 a.m. along with the rest of the members of the board, the only one who is absent in Melvin. Mr. Porter is in a conference with the president and the United Nations delegation; he has written the name of the places where those new portals will open and they must take measures to protect the people.

    The events happened fast, at midnight Louise had a dream, her mother told her the First Evil’s plans and Louise woke up to tell Sharon, they both awaken the members of the support teams and the warriors, and of course, the members of the board. The groups were already waiting for a situation like this, so, it didn’t take them by surprise, but it doesn’t mean they are not frightened. Louise already told them that the First Evil will attack, opening wormholes in different places of the planet. She told them that none of the warriors will show to those places, only smart probes will be sent to close those portals. The reason specified by Louise was that given that the evil army is diminished, they don’t have enough attackers to invade in all those fronts, so no need to mobilize warriors trying to face what won’t show up. Louise also knew that the objective of the opening of those portals around the planet is to distract them. Louise is convinced that the logical next step of the First Evil is to annex the wormhole with all the members of her group in there, isolate them from the earth and make them part of the Hellmouth. For all those reasons Louise needs all the members of the group to be awake and ready to fight.

      Yes, is only one chapter left and I hope to post it next week, but I also hope our lovely couple, if they survive, of course, will continue their adventures in the future.

      When I started writing the story, I, honestly, was expecting to finish it on last October, but several things came in the way, among them a big hurricane and consequently lot of work, but finally, we are here, in the verge of ending this adventure.

      Thank you so much, Bibi, for being such an excellent reader and commenter, you as other readers are the vital force of stories, because in my opinion, without readers stories would be only ideas, personal reflections, cathartic notes, isolated essays from our souls and minds.
