Louise: “Tina, Wil, I want you to be ready when the First starts the attack; he will want to annex the lab and cut our communication with the rest of the planet”
Tina: “he can’t, this portion of the wormhole is strongly attached to the building and the rest of the town”
Louise: “I know, but he could try to isolate the town too”
Willow: “but he is not strong enough to do that”
Louise: “that’s right, but I want to fool him…, I want him to think he succeeded, and then to surprise him with a quick counterattack”
Tina: “what time you think that will happen?”
Louise: “around 4 am, and when I’ll give the order to counterattack you, Tina, go to Bette’s combat unit, and you Willow to the one of Buffy and Faith”
Willow: “I’ll be ready when you tell me”
The time passed, the supporting team prepared the probes. At 3:30 am, several smart probes were sent to the ten places where the portals were going to appear, at 4 am, the portals opened and were immediately closed by the smart probes. The First Evil was entertaining preparing his attack on Louise’s group and didn’t notice the closing of the portals, but Caleb did; he tried to reopen those, but he failed. Desperate by the impossibility to keep the portals open and the lack of attention from the First, Caleb sent a big group of uber-vamps to reopen the portals and attack. The portals were reopened, and Tina and Willow, who monitored them, order the smart probes to kill the vamps using the luminous balls. Most of the vamps were killed and de few survivors flee toward Hellmouth. Caleb realized he made a mistake and because of that, a huge group of the First’s army was destroyed. When the First try to align his army, noticed the absence of the killed vamps and in few minutes he was aware of Caleb’s actions.
The First Evil mounted in rage, uninformed about the closing of the portals by the smart probes. Indeed for the First Evil, this was an act of betrayal by Caleb and that deserved a great and exemplary punishment.
First Evil: “where are my vamps Celeb?”
Caleb: “the portals were closing and there was no way to reopen them from here”

Yes, is only one chapter left and I hope to post it next week, but I also hope our lovely couple, if they survive, of course, will continue their adventures in the future.
When I started writing the story, I, honestly, was expecting to finish it on last October, but several things came in the way, among them a big hurricane and consequently lot of work, but finally, we are here, in the verge of ending this adventure.
Thank you so much, Bibi, for being such an excellent reader and commenter, you as other readers are the vital force of stories, because in my opinion, without readers stories would be only ideas, personal reflections, cathartic notes, isolated essays from our souls and minds.
