Antonia was part of the service crew; she along with others was preparing the food of the First Evil and his group, and of course, she heard everything they said.
Somewhere in between space and time – probably 7:30 am. Monday, February 17, 2059 – Lab in the wormhole.
The night shift is preparing to change, Tina, Willow, Carmen and most of the members of the day shift are already in the lab. Louise is in the lab too, she woke up very early and has been in the lab since 6:00 am. Louise has been making calculations and writing documents on her htab and has convened two rallies, one with the board of projects and the other with all the members of the support and the squad’s teams.
The first meeting is with the board and will be at 9, while the assembly with the teams will be after lunch.
Tina: “morning mom, is there any problem?”
Louise: “why you ask?”
Tina: “well…, two things, first, you are here too early, you use to come around 8 or 9 am, and I heard you came around 6…, and second you taught me not to answer one question with another”
Louise: (sighing) “okay smartass, I’ll make reality one of your petitions, I’ll tell you and everybody else at the meeting after lunch”
Tina: “which meeting?”
Louise: “check your today’s schedule; a reminder will be sent by speakers in three hours”
The meeting with the board of projects was mainly a report given by Louise. The biochemist told the rest of the board that she has received information from a trusty source and the First Evil is planning to open several portals around the planet on Tuesday or Wednesday, and they will need to face an invasion of vamps and demons, they discussed the best alternatives and agreed that the different nations should be warned and an international alarm system should send the coordinated of those new portals as soon as they form in order to send smart probes and protect cities and towns.
Louise: “I think that we could study the way of close the portals as soon as they form”
Melvin: “could we use the same devices the girls used to close the portals in the wormhole?”

Yes, is only one chapter left and I hope to post it next week, but I also hope our lovely couple, if they survive, of course, will continue their adventures in the future.
When I started writing the story, I, honestly, was expecting to finish it on last October, but several things came in the way, among them a big hurricane and consequently lot of work, but finally, we are here, in the verge of ending this adventure.
Thank you so much, Bibi, for being such an excellent reader and commenter, you as other readers are the vital force of stories, because in my opinion, without readers stories would be only ideas, personal reflections, cathartic notes, isolated essays from our souls and minds.
