    Tina – I’m thinking of a burka …

    The gallery owner laughs. The blonde sighs frustrated.

    Tina – I’ll be waiting …

    Bette leans down and gives her a quick kiss.

    Bette – OK.

    She turns to leave.

    Tina – … completely naked …

    The brunette smirks. She makes her way to the door.

    Tina – … and if you don’t come soon enough, I’ll start the party without you.

    Bette stops and turns around staring at the blonde.

    Tina – Changing your mind?

    The brunette looks her up and down.

    Bette – Just picturing the party …

    She sighs.

    Bette – You just wait!

    She leaves. Tina remains in the bed, looking frustrated.

    Bette Porter Gallery, afternoon: Bette is showing her art to her female client, an equally tall, slender, and stunningly beautiful brunette in her late twenties. The woman has long, flawlessly styled curly hair and is impeccably dressed in a haute couture business suit. The two beauties look similar from a distance, only contrasting in the color of their business suits: white for the gallery owner; dark blue for her female client. Up close, their beauties contrast in other ways. The female client has two intense bright green eyes, which together with her porcelain skin and sculpted facial features, reveal her northern European descent. Her posh accent identifies her as an upper-class English woman.

    Client – These paintings are exquisite, Bette! I am glad that I could squeeze this trip in my schedule.

    Bette – Thank you! So am I, Helena!

    Helena – I particularly enjoy the central piece. I have the perfect place for it in my Paris flat.

    Bette – Incidentally, someone already showed interest in The L Word.

    Helena – Someone shall have to give up, darling! I will pay ten thousand dollars above any other offer. And I do mean any.

      Tina has to learn a lot and who better than Alice can give her a quick lesson about The L Word, but if i was Bette she should hurry back and learn Tina herself about everything.

      Thank you for the post!! I was impatiently waiting as always. I’d personally love to see bette surprise tina with a return visit to the set. I imagine they’d still be kept a secret so it would be interesting to see what those two get up to!

    7. May not be an easy transition for Tina. And wondering would Bette have turned down Helena if Tina wasn’t at home waiting.. I sure hope she would have restained..I have a feeling with their to lifes, they will be apart alot and need that trust. Which looks to be hard for Tina just from the conversation with Alice the wheels are turning. And Bette did not tell Tina that Helena wanted dinner in her room..more than a filtration, it was more of an imply. Great chapter.. im sure they will work this all out . Thank you
