    Kit – Oh my!

    Tina – Oh … and she’s got a new girlfriend!

    Bette – Another one …

    Tina – I like Dana! She’s so sweet … I hope she is the one.

    Kit – I’m so happy for Alice! She is a good woman!

    She turns to the baby on her lap and tickles her belly.

    Kit – And your other godmother, right, baby girl? But I’m the auntie godmother!

    Angie giggles.

    Bette – Well … it was either that or Angie’s middle name would have to be Alice!

    Tina chuckles.

    Tina – Al gave us an ultimatum. We opted for godmother since we had already chosen Angie’s middle name.

    Kit – Charlotte is the perfect middle name for her! I loved it!

    Bette – It couldn’t be any other name.

    She turns to her wife and they share a smile.

    Kit – Oh, I forgot to mention, Tina! I watched the Oscar and was happy to see that Wendy Taylor got a nomination for best supporting actress!

    Tina – Yep! She didn’t win but I always knew that she had that kind of talent!

    Kit – She is doing well!

    Tina – Yes, she matured as an actress … and person! She also came out two years ago!

    Bette – Huh! I hope we don’t ever cross paths again!

    Tina – That will be difficult. One of these days you will meet her again in an award ceremony. I met her at the GLAAD awards last year, remember? Alice went with me.  We said hi and congratulated each other.

    Kit – To think that because of her, Angie might not exist …

    Tina shakes her head.

    Tina – That would be impossible, Kit! Your baby sis was made for me!

    She turns to her wife with a smile.

    Tina – I had plans to chase her down after the movie! One way or another, she was never going to escape me!

    Bette grins.

    Kit – Speaking of awards, when will you make another movie, Tina?

    9. This story was so great, surrounded by pictural nature scenes…
      I cannot help but thinking a lot, with few touches here and there, to my beloved Desert Hearts – and since your Alice was watching this wonderful movie in this story, I think it was a kind of tribute wink, no ? ;-)
