    Alice: [continued to stare out the window]

    Shelby: [turned her head and smirked at her silence] A sensitive subject I see.

    Alice: It’s not it’s just—–.

    Shelby: [cuts her off] Say, no more.

    Alice: Shelby, it’s not like that it’s just—.

    Shelby: [cuts her off once more] I’m not Rhonda.

    Alice: That’s not fair, don’t put words in my mouth it’s just I have a lot of things to figure out that’s all.

    Shelby: That’s the only reason u’r here?

    Alice: [stares at her somberly]

    Shelby: To figure thangs out? And see Rhonda? [she says returning her gaze]

    Alice: Listen, I know we’ve all grown distant over the years but things happen, it’s called life we get busy and distracted we don’t speak or see each other like we used to when we were kids and—-[cuts herself off then sighs in frustration].

    Shelby: You don’t owe me no explanation, life right it is what it is?

    Alice: [took in a deep breath at her condescending tone]

    Shelby: [fell silent and focused her attention on the road ahead of her]

    Alice: [the silence was killing her] Shelby, whatever you have to say just say it.

    Shelby: Oh, cuzzo I’m just running my mouth I just thought it strange you bring that Wilson gal—-.

    Alice: Wilson!? I’ve never bought anyone named Wilson here?

    Shelby: Wilson? Them the ones that make them tennis balls, right?

    Alice: Yeah.

    Shelby: Well you bought e’m home some years ago.

    Alice: You, know you really need to lay off the moonshine.

    Shelby: [chuckles] Speaking of shine, you should have seen me last night looked like I was squeezed right from a bartenders rag!

    Alice: [couldn’t help but laugh] You need to get out of Texas more.

    Shelby: Dana, I reckon that was her name.

    Alice: What?

    Shelby: Wilson, the tennis ball you bought her here before?

    Alice: [sighs finally understanding] Yeah, I remember.

    Shelby: So, how come you haven’t bought your new gal here?

      Thanks for this really funny chapter. I hope things will get better for Bette and Tina, and they could patch up their relationship.

      I have my doubts about Alice and Tasha and Lara and Dana.

      If Jenny was going to be at Shane’s party there will be hell to pay. Lol.

      That was a very funny update, i loved the conversation between Tina & Kit, hilarious ????

      I really hope that Bette &Tina are finally going to talk and solve their problems, their marriage is at stake and as a true Tibetter i am worried. Bette filing a missing person report was funny.

      I hope the other couples are going to talk and sort out their relationships, but i don’t see a future between Alice & Tasha and Lara & Dana. But maybe you will surprise us.
