It took a very long time for her to let go and forgive Lara because in her mind she was to blame for ruining her happiness. In fact, it took three months for her to stop having the, “Lara click your heels three times and return back to hell where you came from dream.” True, they say things happen for a reason but in hindsight, looking back on things maybe it was meant for Lara to return to Dana because if she hadn’t she would have never met Tasha. Was this how it was supposed to be? Is this what fate had in store? If, so why put her through so many emotional loopholes? Why, not give a concrete answer as to who she was destined to be with? As she continued to search for answers she failed to realize how she went about doing things, history had proven time and time and again whatever the outcome it would not work out in her favor. For one simple fact and one only, through it all she failed to be honest not only with herself but with Tasha and Lara as well.

Before, Lara appeared both she and Dana agreed to give each other space as a way to keep something else from happening they both would live to regret. After, expressing they still had feelings for each another she was quickly reminded how much in love Dana was with Lara seeing her run after her. Watching her beg and plead for her forgiveness despite their current situation 10 years of love still resonated, however after what happened she wasn’t sure if Lara still felt the same. After 10 years of being together, they finally made the decision to make it official and planned on walking down the aisle in a few months. A decision she had been avoiding with Tasha for years. She still didn’t have a definite answer as to why she kept turning down her marriage proposals but knew she needed to internalize her truths and soon.

Off work for a few weeks not speaking to Tasha and now possibly Dana the rest of the gang had no idea what happened. To add insult to injury her phone was so dry the only texts she received in the last few days were bill payment reminders. Although, she was worried she couldn’t bring herself to reach out to Dana it wasn’t the right time but knew they would come face to face sooner than expected. Both Kit and Helena were throwing Shane a surprise birthday party at The Planet. Helena personally invited everyone via group text telling them when, where, and what time to be there. She even took a step further placing emphasis on “being on time,” by adding “Alice and Kit that means you!”
