“Kevin”
“Bette” Came his reluctant response.
“Bette” Angie giggled as she bounced in Bette’s arms, earning a surprised smile from the brunette. She looked to Tina with pride, her eyes misting over.
Tina smiled just as proud, “She just said it for the first time when you came in”
Bette looked to Angie, that same smile on her face as she hugged the baby girl close. Eager to show off Angie’s new word, Bette excused herself and made her way over to her friends with Tina promising to follow.
All the while, Kevin looked on with irritation. He hated the fact that Bette had formed such a deep bond with Angelica, his daughter’s earlier rebuff further fueling his anger. Angelica shouldn’t favor anyone over her own father and Kevin was more than determined to ensure it wouldn’t happen in the future.
“You should go” Kevin cleared his throat as he cleaned his mouth with a napkin, reaching into his pocket to retrieve his wallet. He felt the anger growing inside him, wanting nothing more than to leave before his temper got the better of him. He truly felt as though he had made progress with Tina and knew that causing a scene would only harm his chances. “I should be getting back to work anyway”
Tina nodded with a smile, completely oblivious to Kevin’s inner turmoil. “Thank you for lunch”
With a tight smile, Kevin got up from his seat and said goodbye to his ex-wife. He left the cafe in a hurry, knowing that he had to make some serious adjustments to his plan.

“So, how are things going with Kevin?”
Tina immediately lifted her head and looked down to the brunette with an eyebrow raised, “You want to talk about that now?”
She arched her hips for emphasis, smiling seductively as Bette’s lips parted in a gasp.
In the midst of getting ready for their night out, Tina found herself distracted by her girlfriend’s beauty and decided to act on her desires. Before either of them knew it, they found themselves on the bed with Tina on top of her half naked girlfriend.
“It just crossed my mind” Bette smirked sexily and gripped Tina by the hips, urging the blonde into a slow grind. She bit her lip at the sensation as her hands slid lower down, pulling Tina’s dress up to expose her firm ass. Bette’s eyes twinkled mischievously as she gripped the firm mounds and kneaded the soft flesh.

About the chapter, Kevin is a nasty piece of ass.
I don’t understand why Tina didn’t tell the truth who was at the door.

I understand why Tina tried be friends with Kevin, but i think she need to stop be so naive about him. She alredy understand it, after his drunk appearance, but maybe it’s too late – he’s already made his plans about Angelica.

I think that Kevin, how stupid he is, understand that no judge gives him custody of Angelica. So i think he might to try another, illegal way to take Ange.

So glad Tina got wise to his lil game to win her back. After ABANDONING Tina and Angie and having NO RELATIONSHIP with his child, I can’t see a Court giving him any rights…he would have to have supervise visitation at best.
I love the way Tina Reassured Bette that she is her ONE AND ONLY!!!
Great birthday dinner with the Bracelet and the understanding that a proposal is coming one day…cute! I wished she would have told Bette about Kevin showing up drunk and looking to reconcile, but I understand NOT wanting to ruin their time together after a tough couple of weeks. I know Bette is gonna lose it when she finds out what Kevin is up to. She is very protective of Tina and Angie!
Glad you are feeling better, I had bronchitis in December it is hard on the body…the coughing alone make you so tired and sore. Take care and take all your antibiotics!

Ugh. Kevin is grinding my gears lol! I wish he’d just disappear and let Bette take over as the second parent role officially. Seems as if she has anyway. Ohhhh and I hope that’s a foreshadowing of a soon-to-be proposal! Love your stories. :)

Any chance u would make a sequel out of “as good as it gets” and continue with “never say never”? I am curious what kind of life does Tibette have with Tina become a famous singer and bette as a famous producer in as good as it gets or how Tina could finally fall in love with bette in never say never…i have to say from all of Tibette’s stories that i’ve read only in never say never Tina and Alice was sister.. and it’s quit refreshing..:D
