    The guests watched the emotional sight before them, their tears flowing more freely than before. It was a truly precious, sentimental moment and everyone in the room felt the intensity of it.

    There was silence for a few moments more, the only sounds to be heard were the occasional sniffles.

    “I love you” Bette whispered as she held both Tina and Angie tightly against herself, one arm wrapped around each of her girls. “I love you both so much”

    Tina pulled back just enough to gaze into her wife’s beautiful emotional eyes, earning a sweet peck on the lips. She smiled as Bette then shifted to place a soft kiss on Angie’s forehead and hugged them both once more.

    A sob echoed from the speakers, gaining Bette and Tina’s attention. They turned to see Carmen wiping her eyes and blowing her nose.

    “Sorry” The Latina smiled through her tears, her lips quivering as she struggled to fight the next wave of sobs. The microphone sitting on the table beside her picked up the sounds of her sniffles, ensuring everyone in the room heard her breakdown. “I’m just so happy”

    Bette and Tina laughed at the adorable sound of their friend’s broken voice, holding each other close as they waited for Carmen to compose herself.

    “Okay” The Latina breathed as she placed her headset back over her ears, sniffling one last time. “Let’s dance!”

    Bette rushed toward a building she hadn’t entered in years, familiarity setting in as she approached the glass doors. She dialed wife’s number on her phone as a bead of sweat trickled down her temple, the high temperature combined with her rushing began to overheat her body.

    Her call was answered and Bette spoke before Tina even had a chance to, apologies practically spilling from her lips. “I know I’m late, baby. I’m sorry, the meeting ran longer than I thought it would”

    There was a soft chuckle on the other end, “It’s okay, I’m just getting here myself. Traffic was insane”

    “Tell me about it” Bette rolled her eyes as she finally entered the building, breathing a sigh of relief at the cool air that enveloped her body. The air conditioner never ceased to fail her in that building. She walked towards the elevators, noticing that one of them was in the process of closing its doors. She rushed over, not wanting to miss it. “I’m about to get in the elevator, babe. I’ll see you in a bit”

    4. Thank you for this story. I was sitting in my office today and reading this one over again. My boss wondered what had me so enthralled lol. I love a happy Tibette ending. It’s something so special about these two. I love them. Inexplicably, because of all the challenges that come their way. They always overcome and that’s what truly matters.

    5. Love Tibette stories that show the humor & sweetness of this couple but also the maturity as evidenced when they own painful\hurtful words and trust that each one will forgive.
