    They were unbelievably happy and Carmen couldn’t help but smile at the couple. Of all people, the Latina had always wanted Jan to find happiness, knowing that her friend had held a flame for Bette for so long. She was glad that her friend had finally been able to move on and find someone who was able to return all the love she had to give.

    “Hey look, there’s Tina” Alice observed and jutted her chin toward the dance floor as her friends turned around to follow her gaze.

    Tina gracefully made her way to the center of the ballroom, grasping Angie’s hand with one of her own while the other held onto a microphone. In Angie’s free hand she held an envelope, earning curious glances from the guests.

    Carmen quickly made her way into her booth but not before turning to face Alice, pointing at her eyes and then pointing at her seemingly innocent friend. Alice took the hint, that Carmen would be watching her and pressed her lips together to prevent any more secrets from being spilled. Carmen lowered the volume on the music, earning a thankful nod from a smiling Tina.

    The beautiful blonde looked out to the many tables that filled the ballroom, smiling at all the happy faces looking at her. “Hi everyone. First, I just want to thank you all for coming. This has truly been a night I’ll never forget”

    “Yeah!”

    “Go Tina!”

    “Wooo!”

    The blonde smiled at the type of whoops and cheers she received from her closest friends, unable to suppress her laughter when she spotted Alice pumping her fist in the air.

    She cleared her throat and continued on, anticipation due to her coming announcement causing her stomach to flutter.

    “So I’m sure you’re all hoping that this is the announcement to bring out the cake but it’s not, sorry” She earned a series of chuckles and she smiled as she turned around to face her smiling bride sitting alone at their table, “Actually um, Angie and I have a gift for Bette. Baby, can you come here for a second please?”

    As if pulled by some type of invisible tether, the surprised Bette instantly rose to her feet and made her way over. The shock and nervousness was clear in her face, she had no idea what to expect. Tina smiled at the expression on her wife’s face, the warmth in her eyes putting Bette at ease somewhat.

    4. Thank you for this story. I was sitting in my office today and reading this one over again. My boss wondered what had me so enthralled lol. I love a happy Tibette ending. It’s something so special about these two. I love them. Inexplicably, because of all the challenges that come their way. They always overcome and that’s what truly matters.

    5. Love Tibette stories that show the humor & sweetness of this couple but also the maturity as evidenced when they own painful\hurtful words and trust that each one will forgive.
