You’re welcome sweetie. Bette knew after she got some food and wine into Tina that she could get to her real feelings about everything. She heads to the kitchen while Tina picks out pjs.
Bette called Kit after she called the order in and spoke to her mother.
Hey baby girl. How did it go?
Hey Kit. You wouldn’t believe it. It was a little touch and go there for a while.
What do you mean?
Well Tina can’t have children. Bette says softly and low with a little crackle in her voice. Sorry. Let me take that back. She can but it would take some doing and expense because she has a hormonal imbalance. But the good news is she can carry a child.
Huh? Kit is confused.
Bette takes a deep breath. She can carry a child and she’s going to carry my baby. Our baby. Bette smiles big. Even though Kit could not see it, she could hear it in her voice. We need a new donor though.
Awww I see. Bette that’s great news. I’m so happy for you both. So your egg and you thinking now you need Caucasian donor?
Yes, sorry I feel like I am rambling. Glad you could follow. I just have so much on my mind.

Yeah I didn’t tell Tina but it scares the shit out of me. Kit I can’t lose her! Bette starts to cry.
Bette! Calm down. Tina will see you’re upset. Now what’s the doctor’s plan?
