    (Alice) What about you Tee? (Tina smiles) Beer is fine Al Alice nods and heads to the fridge. (Shane) Have you spoken to Bette? How’s she feeling? (Tina) Yes, we spoke earlier, she sounds fine. There’s a lot going on, but she’s handling it all well They all smile. (Tina) She’s going to drop past

    (Alice) What about you Tee?

    (Tina smiles) Beer is fine Al

    Alice nods and heads to the fridge.

    (Shane) Have you spoken to Bette? How’s she feeling?

    (Tina) Yes, we spoke earlier, she sounds fine. There’s a lot going on, but she’s handling it all well

    They all smile.

    (Tina) She’s going to drop past for a drink on her way in

    Alice raises her eyebrows.

    (Alice) Wow, that’s unusual, she must be feeling pretty relaxed then

    Alice smiles at Tina as she hands her a beer. They all have a sip of their drinks and Alice turns to Tina.

    (Alice) So considering you’re not going together tonight you might want to think about staking your claim in some way

    Tina looks at her curiously.

    (Tina) What do you mean?

    (Alice) Well, there’ll be a lot of women vying to take her home if they think you two aren’t there together

    (Shane) Al

    (Alice) What? I’m not saying Bette would be in any way interested, but they can still be pretty intense

    Helena turns to Tina.

    (Helena) I’ve seen it in action, you should probably prepare yourself

    Alice nods.

    (Alice) There’s a bit of a competition going for who gets to go home with her after these things. It’s a bit of a WeHo badge of honour

    Alice shrugs and Tina raises her eyebrows.

    (Tina) Right

    Dana and Shane shake their heads.

    (Alice) What?

    (Dana) Just stop talking Al

    The doorbell rings and Alice nods towards Tina.

    (Alice) You go, that’ll be Bette I guess

    Tina makes her way to the front entrance and opens the door to Bette.

    (Bette smiles) Hey

    They step towards each other and wrap their arms around one another, smiling into a kiss. They draw back and smile.

    (Tina) How are you feeling?

    (Bette smiles) I’m fine. I’ll only stay for a minute though, I have to drop into the gallery and then head back home to get ready

    Tina nods. They each reach for the other’s hand as they make their way to the kitchen.

    (Alice smiles) Hey Porter, good to see you. You’ve never joined us before an opening before

    They hug hello and Alice nods towards the bench.

    (Alice) Can I get you a beer?

    (Bette smiles) Sure Al, thanks

    4. Still pretending they are not in a relationship. I bet all my money that if Tina throws out her rules Bette will jump in immediately and official their relationship finally.

      But they get to know each other within the rules and that’s fine but i am ready for them to acknowledge they are actually in a relationship.

      One of my favorite stories! Thank you!
