    The crowd’s attention is drawn to the front entrance as two cars pull up and several people exit and are approached by the surrounding media.     The crowd’s attention is drawn to the front entrance as two cars pull up and several people exit and are approached by the surrounding media. They all watch on through the large glass wall at the entrance, and Tina smiles as she spots Bette speaking confidently to a reporter.

    Tina takes a breath and has a sip of wine as she watches her. Helena looks over at her, watching her for a moment before speaking.

    (Helena) Was attending tonight together on the cards at all?

    Tina takes a breath and remains focused on Bette.

    (Tina) She asked

    Helena nods.

    (Helena) I see

    They both continue watching Bette for another moment, and Helena looks over to Tina and examines her.

    (Helena) So, she wanted to share tonight with you. And by the look of you, you want that too

    Tina looks at her.

    (Helena) Why are you depriving yourself of this?

    Tina sighs and has another sip of wine.

    (Helena) Are you worried what Bette would take from it? That she’d see it as a sign that you’re wanting to change the dynamic between the two of you?

    Tina smiles as she again watches Bette.

    (Tina) No. She really has never put any pressure on me. And I believe her that it’s not why she wanted me with her tonight

    Tina shifts her gaze to Helena.

    (Tina) She said I don’t have to be so careful with her. And I think she’s probably right

    Helena smiles at her.

    (Helena) Well it can’t be that you care what anyone here thinks, can it? Because that would be extremely unlike you

    (Tina smiles) It’s a big event. I’ll admit I had a moment of being intimidated by the prospect of standing on her arm amongst all these people. But no, I’m back to not caring about that

    Helena smiles at her.

    (Helena) So, bear with me. You’re not worried what she’ll take from it. You’re not worried what anyone else might take from it. And you want it

    Tina looks at her and Helena raises her eyebrows and smiles.

    (Helena) Tina, I’m having a very hard time understanding why it is you’re standing here talking with me, and not over there

    Helena nods towards Bette.

    4. Still pretending they are not in a relationship. I bet all my money that if Tina throws out her rules Bette will jump in immediately and official their relationship finally.

      But they get to know each other within the rules and that’s fine but i am ready for them to acknowledge they are actually in a relationship.

      One of my favorite stories! Thank you!
