    Coming Full Circle—Chapter 2

    Bette nods and follows Emma out of the room

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Later that evening, after her confession to Mallory, Tina needed some air and drove into WeHo to go have a drink at her favorite restaurant and bar. With the new semester starting on Monday and Mallory now looking for the daughter she gave up for adoption 18 years ago she needed to unwind. She turns into the parking lot of Bernadette’s and parked her car near the front entrance.
    As she stepped out she hears a familiar voice calling out to her and turns to see the owner throwing some boxes out in the dumpster on the side of the restaurant
    “Hey Tina” she waves as Tina approaches her
    “Hey..It’s good to see you Kit”
    Kit brushes her hands off “You mine hugging an old dusty woman” she chuckles at herself “I’ve been cleaning out the storage room”
    Tina closes the distance and wraps Kit up in a tight hug
    “Kit you do know I work with all kinds of art. I’m used to dust”
    “That you do” Kit chuckles and motions Tina to follow her “You come to get some dinner?” She says as they walk through the back door and head to Kit’s office.
    Kit motions for her to have a seat on the sofa
    “Actually I just came to get a drink or two”
    “Things on your mind huh?” Kit says glancing at Tina who she can sense is troubled about something
    Tina sighs “You could say that”
    “Well you have been coming here for a long time Tina and you have poured your heart out to me on many occasions. So I’m here if you need to talk” Kit offers “Do you want the house special”
    Tina nods “Please”
    “You stay here and I will be right back” Kit says disappearing out of her office.
    Tina looks around and notices a picture slightly turned where she could see it on Kit’s desk.  Her curiosity getting the better of her she gets up and walks over picking up the frame to look at it.
    “That’s my niece Emma Porter” Kit says from behind as Tina jumps and quickly sets the picture back down
    “I’m sorry”
    Kit waves her off and hands the drink to her
    Comments
    1. WhooHoo! Bette thinks she’s going to LA to be close to Emma, but she’s fixin’ to get RE-introduced to Kit and introduced to a screaming gorgeous Professor!!!
    2. Small world…. so many connections and they are all through Emma Porter. Its going to be an exciting college life for Emma. Hopefully some of the other problems will work out as well. Bette has no significant other… Tina has no significant other and Kit was just trying to do the right thing. Of course its a bit harsh to threaten to take a child away to get her back into Emma’s life.
      Now that Bette is going to move to the west coast, things should really get interesting.
      Liking this story a lot… thank you for this new chapter… cannot wait to see more..
    3. Love this story!
      Bette moving to LA, Emma, Tina and Kit already linked to each other.
      What Kit did was not the way to get Bette out of her grieve for her long term partner, she was threatening to take Emma from her and already had hired a lawyer, i can imagine that Bette was mad as hell and cut Kit out of their lives. The intention of Kit to pull Bette up was good but not the way she went through it. I would have cut her off to.
      Interesting story!
