    Tina picks up her drink and takes a gulp “Woah now.  It can’t be that bad can it?” Kit says as Tina swallows and sets her drink back down “Ok well. I” Tina began and was interrupted by a frazzled cook standing at the door “Uh Kit. The fryer went down” “Again?..I just had it

    Tina picks up her drink and takes a gulp

    “Woah now.  It can’t be that bad can it?” Kit says as Tina swallows and sets her drink back down

    “Ok well. I” Tina began and was interrupted by a frazzled cook standing at the door

    “Uh Kit. The fryer went down”

    “Again?..I just had it fixed last month” Kit says exasperated

    The cook shrugs

    “I’ll be there in a minute” Kit motions for the cook to go on and he turns to leave. She turns to Tina

    “Well can I get a rain check?” Kit says walking toward the door.

    Tina picks up her drink and grabs her purse “Of course. I’m just going to go sit at the bar and finish my drink. Thanks Kit”

    Kit gives Tina a side hug “You are welcome.  Anytime girl.  And if you here an explosion in a little while it was me just blowing up that fryer” she jokes and heads to the kitchen while Tina heads to the bar

    Monday—California University

    Emma woke up to the sound of Taylor’s alarm going off. After comparing their schedules yesterday they found they have 4 classes together on Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays, and one on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s.  The first class of the morning is Intro to Art with Ms. Kennard

    Emma looked over at Taylor who hadn’t moved and the alarm was still going off.

    “Taylor!” Emma yelled over at her and chuckled when Taylor’s body jumped in the bed. She stirred around and took her hand to slam in the direction of the alarm and after a few taps finally hit the right button turning the annoying sound off.

    “Mmmmmm.  I don’t want to get up” Taylor whined as she forced herself to sit up on the side of her bed. Her eyes still closed

    Emma throws the covers off of her and gets up grabbing her shower caddy, towel, and robe. She slips on her flip flops, grabs her room key, and turns to Taylor who is still sitting on the side of her bad with her eyes still closed

    “I’m going to the showers now..You coming?”

    Taylor nods. Her eyes still closed. Emma chuckles at her as she leaves out of the room

    1. WhooHoo! Bette thinks she’s going to LA to be close to Emma, but she’s fixin’ to get RE-introduced to Kit and introduced to a screaming gorgeous Professor!!!

    3. Small world…. so many connections and they are all through Emma Porter. Its going to be an exciting college life for Emma. Hopefully some of the other problems will work out as well. Bette has no significant other… Tina has no significant other and Kit was just trying to do the right thing. Of course its a bit harsh to threaten to take a child away to get her back into Emma’s life.

      Now that Bette is going to move to the west coast, things should really get interesting.

      Liking this story a lot… thank you for this new chapter… cannot wait to see more..

      Bette moving to LA, Emma, Tina and Kit already linked to each other.

      What Kit did was not the way to get Bette out of her grieve for her long term partner, she was threatening to take Emma from her and already had hired a lawyer, i can imagine that Bette was mad as hell and cut Kit out of their lives. The intention of Kit to pull Bette up was good but not the way she went through it. I would have cut her off to.

      Interesting story!
