What about you and me? Bette thought quickly and chased that away.
”For what it’s worth she’s very close to that child, maybe she made a mistake but she did it for the best, she knows her stuff about orthopedics…it could have been a bad move.”
Tina looked at the kindness in Bette’s eyes ”it could.” Tina’s gaze softened ”so the Hangover huh?”
Bette laughed loud and clear ”absolutely yes. I remember when we saw it at the movies, it was me Shane and Helena, goodness, we thought it was the end of my marriage.”
This really made Tina laugh, Bettw had tears in her eyes ”well can you imagine that face of yours with a tattoo on your cheek?” Tina said
”imagine me without a tooth.” Bette laughed.
After the laughter the room went silent and Bette looked at Tina with that same kind way ”Angelica…she’ll wait for you…”
Tina jumped out of bed ”you’re right, thank you!” she quickly put on her sweatshirt as she grabbed her bag and quickly headed for the door.
”Tina…” Bette called laughing at how funny she looked all in a hurry but then when she turned around the blonde’s eyes hit her, her gaze so pure, shining, her eyes between brown and yellow. Bette froze almost unable to formulate the statement.
”Yes?” Tina asked without understanding.
Bette raised the little box of pudding that was on her stomach ”thank you for this.” smiling and Tina also opened her most beautiful smile, giving it to Bette. Not knowing that the gift was that and not the pudding.
Tina’s house was chaotic that night, she had insisted on having dinner at her house with Alice, Shane, Helena and Dana, Alice’s new flame, a really brilliant nurse, had also come.
In reality the evening had turned out to be more fun than expected, Shane had entertained Angelica with a thousand cartoon imitations, she was really good with children even if her appearance wouldn’t say so.
While they were relaxing after helping Tina put the dishes in the dishwasher Alice as usual had to take stock of the situation ”so Kennard, you and Torres? clash in the corridors huh?”

Bette has been in the hospital for 2 years. I would assume that she and Callie broke up before she was admitted as a patient. Callie was seeing Mark before she broke up with Bette, so I would think that pregnancy would be inevitable. Bette’s situation seems hopeless at this point. It appears that her only hope is a transplant. She is unhappy about her physical condition and her future prospects. That does not lend itself to improving her health. And Callie’s announced pregnancy does not make Bette’s life easier. Tina is trying to be her friend, but Bette’s attitude does not make it easy. Life for Bette is spiraling from bad to worse. In Bette’s words, she needs a miracle.

It is normal for Bette to be frustrated and angry about “I know how you feel”, not pleasant for Tina but…
I would be free to assume that Bette’s condition will worsen and it will lead to some “neurosurgery stuff”.
who knows…we’ll see. In the meantime, you’ll have a new chapter.
