”Fuck you, I’m always nice” Alice glared at the brunette as she brought the phone to her ear, laughter and music spilling out over the speaker a moment later.

”I need you to come get me and Bette”

Bette slapped Alice on the arm to which the blonde shrugged, not feeling the need for pleasantries despite her warning from Bette. She knew Tina would have seen right through her if she had tried any other approach.

Alice? Came the surprised reply before the noise in the background died down. The music was lowered and the laughter was shushed.

“Yeah, its me” Alice sighed before she repeated herself, “I need you to come get me and Bette”

Bette stared at her best friend incredulously but didn’t say a word.

Well, hi to you too Tina sighed, not bothering to hide the annoyance in her tone. Alice could almost see her sister roll her eyes.

”Sorry” The older blonde mumbled after she received another look from her best friend. She sighed hopelessly, ”Can you come get us or not?”

Bette rolled her eyes at her best friend as she leaned back against the side of her truck. There was no way that Tina would help them out. Not with the way Alice was ”asking”.

What happened to Bette’s truck?

”It won’t start” Alice pursed her lips as she kicked at a rock stuck in the dirt. She knew what was coming next.

She ran her tongue over her teeth at the smug tone in her sister’s voice Oh, so now who’s the one asking for favors?

”Don’t be an ass, Tina” Alice snapped and turned away from Bette before she could be chastised by the brunette.

Okay, I’m sorry Tina chuckled, the smile evident in her voice though her words grew more serious, It does suck that you guys are practically stranded though

”Wait, you’re not gonna come?!” Alice screeched, her eyes widened in panic. Bette’s did too, surprised that Tina wouldn’t actually help them out.
