That hurts – its embarrassing that I was ever that stupid about a woman – a woman that I
always knew was always going to hurt me
“If she hurt you and treated you the way she did – the odds are that she did the same to other women – maybe we should do a little digging of our own “
“What do you mean ?” I ask Kit
“Just that if she comes out with stuff – it would be wise if we had our own ammunition – if she wants to play dirty we cannot be unprepared “

I shake my head “I don’t want to say – I have a few ideas about what I might do if she comes after me “
“The dignified thing to do is to do nothing “ Alice points out

“I know – all I am saying is that we should have a number of possible reactions teed up. These are the last few months of your Presidency and there is not much on the horizon in terms of policy and bills – if this blows up we are going to be fire fighting “
The door opens and Shane strolls in – I get up to greet her. We don’t see enough of her since she left – she does look so much better. She has put on a little weight and is letting her hair grown. Tonight she is wearing a black suit and high boots – she looks terrific

Thanks for the update – really appreciate it. Have a great vacation and enjoy your self totally – don’t even think about writing. But when you return to the Lwing please please please have Bette show this woman the door fast.
I can’t wait to see what happens when Holly arrives. Even with all the protection Bette has I’m concerned that she will somehow get to Bette. I just hope Bette is prepared to put her in her place…
