    The Most Distant Course

“Boss.” Tina ignores the others, she kisses Sebastian Cooper’s ring.

“Justine.” Cooper nods. “Have a seat.”

“What’s the emergency?” Tina says coldly while she sits in the seat in front of the boss.

“What’s the emergency?” Jodi sneers. “Looks like our beloved Ms. Cooper didn’t really care about the company’s current events, what kind of boss are you?”

“The incompetence and lack of professionalism kind of boss, if you meant so,” Tina responds with a sneer, she takes the wine glass delivers by the servant. “True, I don’t know what today’s meeting topic is, but except the rat issue, I knew everything happened in this company.”

Jodi clenches her jaws, seeing Tina complacent face. Anger swindled her all over the body, her face has frozen, cold and empty is not enough to describe her furious eyes. Tina only smirks when she sees her stepsister shuts with rage, speaking of the smart talker, Jodi still has a long way to catch up on Tina.

“Oh, well? Then who is the spy, may I ask? Huh? You said you know everything, who is the dirty rat?”

“That’s not hard to guess,” Tina takes a sip of the wine glass, she’s the only one who dares to drink directly in front of the boss. It’s not that she wants to drink something, her behavior is just declared sovereignty. “Seeing the empty seats here, looks like our head of prostitution isn’t well-behaved.”

“How I remember you have an unusual relationship with Carmen when you were in the brothel? Wasn’t she always help you get rid of the tough costumers? After all these years, how come you didn’t find out she’s the spy?”

Bette clenches her fist when she heard Jodi mentioned about Tina in the brothel, if they were not in the meeting, she will certainly jump across the table and award the annoying drug abuse woman a big punch on the face. If it were not for before that Tina warned her not to say anything defend her, she might already rain down curses on her head.

Tina didn’t seem angry with Jodi’s word, as cool as a cucumber, she slowly tastes the great wine.

“Carmen and I did have a good friendship in the old time, she’s smart and reliable, too bad her circle of friends was a bit too complicate, took me long enough to find the evidence of her contact with the police.”

    1. Hi! Thank you for the chapter!

But i must say i don’t like what happened in this chapter.

First – Tina on grugs again.
Second – like i said earlier i don’t care about Carmen death. But i have suspicion that (spoiler) But in this case obviously that Bette didn’t know anything about this, but i can feel that Sam knew. So Tina trust Sam more than Bette. And for me it death sentence for B&T realationship.

So we will see if i right than

    2. I think my comment got lost in space again! ????

Sad that Carmen had to be taken away by Tina.

How much more can Tina endure? She is a brilliant and strong woman and i am glad that that she has the love and support from Bette. And yes Sam as well.

You left with a cliffie again!ooking forward to the next chapter!

    3. Hi CJ:
Strong chapter, hard to imagine Tina killing Carmen, but in a former chapter, Tina said that she made modifications on her gun (?) Is there something you haven’t write here?

You wrote here what I already suspected reading former chapters, but I wasn’t totally sure, Sebastian Cooper had sex with Tina in the brothel despite recognizing her as her own daughter; that guy is not a man, he is not an animal, he is the damn walking devil, he deserves to be burned alive and slowly; I heard of a few cases like this in real life and always made me sick and there is no excuse for the father, poor Tina.

I like Bette very much, how she trusts, supports and protectsTina no matter what.
Great chapter CJ, keep the good work.
