    “Baby…hang in there…hang in there….”

    I love you, Bette Porter.

    I love you so much.

But nothing came out of my mouth, all I could feel and hear was that Bette was sobbing…Right, maybe feeling sad for the dance that I couldn’t give her, I didn’t even know how long I could last.

By the huge pain and dizziness, I blacked out again.

By the power of gravity, I allowed my body to fall, deeper and deeper, like a falling star…Slowly and quietly, I fade away.

I swear to God, when I come home

I’m gonna hold you so close

I swear to God, when I come home

    I’ll never let go

    Like a river, I flow

    To the ocean, I know

You pull me close, guiding me home

And I need you to know that we’re fallin’ so fast

We’re fallin’ like the stars, fallin’ in love

And I’m not scared to say those words with you, I’m safe

We’re fallin’ like the stars, we’re fallin’ in love

Tina slowly opens her eyes, the view around her was no longer the cold walls of the FBI building, there are flowers next to a huge window, although curtains are down, she can still see the sunlight shine into the room, warming up the cold room.

Where am I? What time is it?”

Her eyes can barely get used to the strong light, but she still trying to figure out what’s in the room.

It is a huge hospital room for a single patient, the furniture in here is fancy and brand new, the window is even bigger than the normal hospital, by the sunlight and the flying bird outside, she can easily guess that this room must be in the higher story of the hospital, more like a VIP ward.

This might cost a huge amount of money.

Tina remembers when she was a young girl, either be hit by the foster parent, or she got bullied by local boys, she had often come and gone through the hospital, sometimes stayed for a few hours, sometimes she was so weak that she’s stayed for weeks. Every time she has been arranged in the ward with other patients, mostly old people, only a very few times she would see children.

    1. Hi CJ,

      What a incredible good chapter!

At first i thought you skipped the part about Tina’s life in danger and moved fast forward to their future. And oh what a beautiful dream Tina had when she was fighting for her life. That is certainly a part i want to read more about! The interaction and pouting between Bette & Tina and Noah warmed my heart and made me laugh!

It was a well calculated risk Tina took, but at the end she is the absolute winner!!!

I hope to read what happened with Faye Buckley and Aaron Kornblunth and of course what happened with Candace.

I am a little sad that there will be only three chapters more on this incredible story!

Thank you so much for sharing your incredible talent as writer and this story!

    2. Hi CJ:

Great chapter, that was very sweet, like Bibi, I thought that you skipped a whole chapter but then I realized about the wonderful dream of Tina.

Yes, it was hard but Tima made it, now we want to learn what happened with the evil people what about Buckley, Aaron, Candace.

I would like to see how the legal situation of Tina will be fixed.

And of course the happy ending.

      Wonderful story, my friend.

      Thanks and pps.

    3. Love it…after three weeks some of Tina’s superficial wounds and bruises should have healed. The deep wounds and the broken bones probably will take a lot longer. And considering her fragile health, its a wonder she survived at all. Bette needs to heal also. Can’t wait to hear about Faye Buckley, Aaron Kornbluth, and Candace Newell. Oh and what really happened to Shane? Did Max really kill her? Surely not! Is Tina now really in the clear – free to live her life as a normal person? What will happen to Bette and her job? Maybe she will leave law enforcement and do something else? I really hope the Cooper Family chapter is now truly closed.

This is a good story….I want Tina and Bette to make a home and life together. Thankyou for the update.

    4. Great Chapter!

You had me a bit at sea to start with but glad I persevered!

Mixed feelings about the story ending but really looking forward to your next post.

You are a talented storyteller, thanks for posting.
