    And since she only had very little money to pay for the treatment, she could only stay in the room in which the condition was the worst, noisy, dirty and smelly. Neither could she expected the patient room in the hospital can be so luxurious and quiet.

    The only sound in the room is the beeping monitors, connect with several tubes that are plugging in her body. Tina finds out her body cannot move, bandages limit her moves, looking down at her body, Jezz…She looks like a mummy. 

    One of her legs is broken, she can see wounds and cuts cover her skin, even if they already stop bleeding, the injuries are terrifying. Her left arm has been put in plaster, unable to move a tiny bit, but Tina knew that there must be a hole on a shoulder, she did remember Candace try to put a bullet in her heart but missed. She hasn’t had time to see who was the person that stopped Candace, the huge pain was too much for her. Considering her health situation, it was almost impossible for her to bite the bullet. 

    As for her right hand…though it’s not injured like her left hand, it is so strengthless and can barely move, probably because of the anesthesia, basically, her whole body feels so heavy that she cannot move a finger

    There’s a glass of water on the nightstand next to her bed, her throat is so dry that is desperately screaming for water. Testing the only part that was not seriously injured, she tries to move her fine arm, but only cause a huge pain coming from her chest…she groans silently.

    Shit…That was hurt… 

    Giving up the idea of reaching for the glass, she closes her eyes again.

    Why am I in a hospital? What happened?

    She cannot remember anything after all when Candace pulled out the gun, yeah, after that her memories were like shutting down by the huge pain. The Captain did really hate her so much that she showed no mercy when she’s punching…Right after Candace’s finger touches that trigger, she passed out.

    A small stir came out from the table further away from the bed, resist the stabbing pain of her shoulder, she sits up a bit to see who is also in the room.

      What a incredible good chapter!

      At first i thought you skipped the part about Tina’s life in danger and moved fast forward to their future. And oh what a beautiful dream Tina had when she was fighting for her life. That is certainly a part i want to read more about! The interaction and pouting between Bette & Tina and Noah warmed my heart and made me laugh!

      It was a well calculated risk Tina took, but at the end she is the absolute winner!!!

      I hope to read what happened with Faye Buckley and Aaron Kornblunth and of course what happened with Candace.

      I am a little sad that there will be only three chapters more on this incredible story!

      Thank you so much for sharing your incredible talent as writer and this story!

      Great chapter, that was very sweet, like Bibi, I thought that you skipped a whole chapter but then I realized about the wonderful dream of Tina.

      Yes, it was hard but Tima made it, now we want to learn what happened with the evil people what about Buckley, Aaron, Candace.

      I would like to see how the legal situation of Tina will be fixed.

      And of course the happy ending.

    3. Love it…after three weeks some of Tina’s superficial wounds and bruises should have healed. The deep wounds and the broken bones probably will take a lot longer. And considering her fragile health, its a wonder she survived at all. Bette needs to heal also. Can’t wait to hear about Faye Buckley, Aaron Kornbluth, and Candace Newell. Oh and what really happened to Shane? Did Max really kill her? Surely not! Is Tina now really in the clear – free to live her life as a normal person? What will happen to Bette and her job? Maybe she will leave law enforcement and do something else? I really hope the Cooper Family chapter is now truly closed.

      This is a good story….I want Tina and Bette to make a home and life together. Thankyou for the update.
