Tina deliberately left out any mention of the missing negatives. She continued addressing the diminutive billionaire. “I imagine they have both given you an earful on how I am bent on sabotaging this project. I will let you know that I am not on board with their decisions but in their respective roles as the movie Director and the studio’s Creative Director they have the authority to override me as the Executive Producer on creative changes. I however have the authority as the Studio Head to have final say on whether we move forward with releasing the film. In all honesty, I would rather exercise that right than put the Shaolin-Peabody name on a sell-out movie but I want to give you every opportunity to do business with us. It’s your movie and your money at stake. You’re a savvy business man William. I’m sure you would want to understand the repercussions of making an uninformed decision; especially when you have a quarter of a million dollars invested, to say nothing of risking millions in profits if we don’t give this thoughtful consideration.”
“Tina, I’m not sure why all this is relevant. If the movie is finished and Kate assures me she has secured distribution, then what does it matter. I’m happy to release you of any personal liability as we know from the market testing that we have a hit. I realize it’s my movie, and any investment is risky but I did authorize the monies. As for making an informed decision, I rather liked the original ending but I trust Kate and defer to her instincts on what will sell to a broader audience.”
“So, for the record you are in full agreement with Mr. Aaron Kornbluth and Ms. Kate Arden’s actions independent of holding Ms. Tina Kennard or Shaolin-Peabody Studios liable for the success of this film. Is that a correct summation Mr. Halsey?” The question came from the studio lawyer, Mr. Winters.
“Yes, that is correct.” William agreed. “Are we done? My girlfriend is waiting and my pilot is on stand-by. We’re flying back to Mexico this evening.” William started to get up but Tina stopped him.
“William, please just a few more minutes of your time. I don’t want to keep anyone here longer than necessary, but we still have one order of business left to discuss in regards to the distribution of Lez Girls or should I say The Girls.”

To go thru all that she has and still believe that some people are trustworthy and to find out they are not was truly the eye-opener TINA needed to see.TINA came into that ring and bitch slapped those three stooges(larry,curly,and moe)like she was MMA. She showed up and showed out,YES!!.Thinking she would go down without a fight was a HUGE mistake .A woman who stood to lose not only her good name and livelihood but a career she neglected her family for in the process is a dangerous adversary if crossed and that is the one crucial element they forgot to take into account.Now on to the next thrilling episode of TINA and the three stooges.GET’EM.Worth the wait and then some.THANKS,ps.

Left a comment Sunday night, don’t know what happened to it. Said it posted, evidently not. Had said that I agree totally with “dunnthat.” Liked the chapter a lot and you know how much I like Tina, especially when she is ticked off. Just glad she was able to keep her cool and scared the hell out of all those a–holes. With her parting shot at them they don’t know what to think now. Hopefully Bettes’ investigator and attorney can find eric and slap them all in jail. Maybe now one of them will slip up and make that one mistake that will catch them all. For some damned reason they don’t think Tina is smart enough to filter the clues. Hope they can put all of them so far back in a cell, daylight will have to be piped to them. The crooked S.O.B.’s. Thanks for the chapter. Waiting not too patiently for the next one.

I am distraught that the story has no finish!
Sharon, I realize it’s been a couple of years but this story hasn’t been laid to rest yet. I will be back with a conclusion. I just got distracted with another story called Daddy that was on my heart so I had to write it. Thank you for the poke. I will see where I am and revive it soon.

Please, please write a Conclusion for us even if you make it an Epilogue!

Hi BAT2012, I have been rereading a lot of great fiction about B & T and came across yours. I immediately remembered this one. It’s been 3 almost 4 years since you’ve posted. I got myself all fired up and then was left without closure. Please I need to know how Kate, Eric, Mark, and William get caught, and how Bette, Tina, Alex, and the rest of the family deal with the fallout. How does life get better when they get back to their day to day lives? I am still reading the rest of your work, but would love to see this one come to fruition. Please post soon.
