    Kit – Besides, she is the only one who doesn’t live here full time. If she is not happy, she may leave for a while!

    Ranch house dining room, afternoon: Kit and Tina are having lunch together. The dining room includes a long and rustic wood table, another beautiful stone fireplace and a wall to wall window with a view of the valley and the mountains.  Maria is serving them.

    Kit – Where is Bette, Maria?

    Maria – She already ate in the nook. She went to the cabin.

    The ranch owner turns to Tina.

    Kit – We have a cabin down in the valley.

    Tina – Oh, the one I saw when I was taking pictures?

    Kit – Yeah … it’s Bette’s sanctuary! She does most of her painting there!

    Tina – So that’s still a part of the ranch?!

    Kit – Uh-huh!

    Tina – It’s quite attractive!

    Kit – Yes, it is! It was an abandoned mining cabin which was falling apart near the mountains. She brought it to that location and restored it when she was in college. She and Jim worked on it for an entire summer. She did a great job!

    Ranch house living room, afternoon: Kit and Tina are having coffee together. The blonde finally looks at the clock.

    Tina – Oh wow … time flies! It’s almost five! I’d better get going!

    Kit – Where are you going?

    Tina – I plan to spend the night in a hotel not far from here. I’ll explore the region tomorrow morning and head back to Denver in the afternoon.

    Kit – Hotel?! No way … you don’t need a hotel! We have enough rooms in the house. You stay with us tonight!

    Tina – Oh … no need, Kit! I …

    Kit – Girl, I insist! You’re not going to sleep in a hotel by the road … You are staying here!

    Tina – I …

    Kit – It’s settled!

    She gets up and walks out of the room

    Kit – Come with me! Let’s get your luggage and take it to your room.

    The blonde smiles resigned.

    Tina – OK. Thanks!

    Tina follows her to the foyer.

    Kit – What time is your flight?

      I’m currently discovering this other story, being “orphan” from your After The Kiss *wink* and I’m already hooked !

      You have a truly cinematic eye – and I’m a huge cinema passionate. I can see Kit’s ranch and every details as if I was admiring them through Tina’s eyes and, well, to imagine Bette as a cowgirl is very sexy, I must say !
      Since I adore western movies, I cannot help but remembering the great Missy, my favorite classic actress : pretty fiery, even arrogant but mesmerizing too – our poor Tina has no chance to resist !

        • Yes indeed !
          Well, what can I say ? “Cowgirl” immediately makes me think about Stanwyck in one of her westerns (like The Furies, The Moonlighter or Forty Guns) – even if this marvelously versatile actress was great in every other movie genres possible *wink*
          And, well, her voice is the sexiest I have ever heared… Not a beauty but what a charm – more dangerous, the charm !

          So now that you already know two of my absolute favorite ladies, Jennifer Beals and “Missy”, I five your the last two : my first teenage crush, Vivien Leigh, and my biggest screen crush ever, Kate Winslet :-)
