    “But you did hurt her. Me, Bette, our friends .. we are what she knows. She feels safe with us .. and you ripped her from all that” Kevin lifted his head immediately, meeting the fiery gaze in his ex-wife’s eyes. “When you were busy being selfish did you ever once take the time to look at her, really look at her? She was scared out of her mind when we got there, Kevin. She wouldn’t stop crying. She doesn’t want to leave our side now. She sleeps with Bette and I nearly every night. You did that. You caused her that type of pain”

    Tears fell freely from Kevin’s eyes, “Tina .. I didn’t meant to .. I’m so sor-“

    “You will never take her from us again” Tina continued, her growing anger leaving her without patience. “If by some miracle a judge grants you visitation rights years from now, you will never again be alone with her. Either you will be supervised by someone from the court, or by Bette and myself. Any chance you had of having a normal relationship with Angie is now gone all because of your selfish pride”

    Kevin felt the panic rising up his throat, choking him. He was sorry for everything he had done, for jumping to conclusions, for not trusting the one woman who has never given him a reason to feel otherwise. He wanted to take it all back, to apologize and move on. That was when he realized that there are some things “I’m sorry” just wouldn’t fix. His actions held consequences and he would be paying for his mistakes for a long while.

    “Goodbye Kevin”

    Tina’s voice snapped Kevin out of his reverie. He watched in a daze as Tina placed the phone back on the receiver, only realizing just what was happening as the blonde rose from her seat.

    “Wait, Tina!” He jumped up and spoke into the phone even though Tina could no longer hear him, watching as she turned to walk away. “Tina! Please, just let me explain! You can’t do this. TINA!”

    4. Thank you for this story. I was sitting in my office today and reading this one over again. My boss wondered what had me so enthralled lol. I love a happy Tibette ending. It’s something so special about these two. I love them. Inexplicably, because of all the challenges that come their way. They always overcome and that’s what truly matters.
