    ”Sounds good. I will have that to you in the next couple of weeks. We should have the quotes before the end of the month. Thank you so much for your time Jack. You’ve been a great help.”

    ”Yes thank you very much Jack.”

    Bette and Tina leave Jackson’s office feeling really good about their financial future and investment opportunities. They have both taken the rest of the day off from work so they drive down to the beach where the property is located and spend several hours just getting a feel for the place and trying to envision living and working there.

    They drive past the neighborhood public elementary school, middle school, and high school all of which seem to be in very nice areas. They would make appointments to speak to the elementary school principal and staff then compare the curriculum to that of the private schools for Angie.

    Bette and Tina took a walking tour and stopped in several shops to speak to the owners all of whom raved about the area and the live/work environment. By the time they left the beach to pick up Angie from school they were convinced that they wanted to make their home in the area. They love their West Hollywood house, the neighborhood and being close to friends and family but this area was so eclectic and offered so much more diversity that it really suited them.

    Wednesday – CU Bette’s Faculty Meeting

    “Good morning everyone.”

    “Good morning Dean Porter.”

    “I think everyone has had an opportunity to meet Professor Leigh Ostin our new Artist in Residence & Art Professor but I wanted to extend an official welcome.” Turning to Leigh, Bette addressed her friend. Professor Ostin we are delighted to have you onboard. We are looking forward to your contributions to our efforts in establishing CU as a leader in Fine Arts Education.”

    The staff applauded and echoed Bette’s sentiments. “Thank you Dean Porter. Thank you all for the warm welcome. I feel very much at home already. I look forward to working with all of you in progressing our goals.”

    4. You would have to throw the monkey wrench into the mix, didn’t you. I have faith that Bette has learned her lesson and if Candace tries anything, Tina will be the first to know.
      Then they’ll team up to slap her down!

    6. Am I right that it was Tina who did the cheating on Bette with Helena? Please do not let Bette get caried away. I hope she’ll put Candace in her place and tell her she’s a married woman!

    7. GM! Thanks for this post! Sorry, I didn’t make the post last night cause my body shut down on me about 9 or so. Plus it was storming here and that helped put me to sleep! I just can’t do Candance!! Pray everyone have a great day. I woke 40 minutes before the alarm had to pee. PPS

    10. Come on TEAM Porter show a little faith in our girl. LadySovjet yes you are correct. In this story Tina cheated with Helena; Bette never cheated and she’s not about to start now. Do you all really think that she would jeopardize her new relationship with Tina- the love of her life, the mother of her child, the woman she’s waited 8 long years to reconcile with? If you think there is a chance Bette would cheat with Candace then I’m not doing a good job of establishing her character :-).

      I threw Candace in the story for fun, and she will be around for a while so just stay tuned. Thanks as always for those who read and choose to comment. I appreciate the silent readers too.
