Chapter 14
Bette raises her eyebrows as she takes in Tina’s words. They both hold their position for a long moment before Bette feels Tina slowly withdrawing her arm from around her, and her body tensing as she moves away from her. Bette leans back and looks up at her and Tina avoids her gaze as she continues to draw away.
(Bette) Tee?
Tina slowly moves to the edge of the bed, sitting with her back to Bette, and Bette props herself up on her elbow and watches her anxiously. Tina turns her head towards her, still avoiding her eyes.
(Tina) I’m going to go
Bette reaches towards her, placing her hand gently on her back.
(Bette) Please don’t go
Tina rises from the bed and begins gathering her clothes and belongings from around the room, and Bette sits up on the bed as she watches her.
(Bette) Please don’t do this. You don’t need to do this
Tina frowns as she continues gathering her belongings into a bag she has placed on the end of the bed.
(Tina) What am I doing?
Bette takes another breath as her eyes follow her around the room.
(Bette) I think this is you panicking, and you don’t need to do that with me
Bette moves to sit on the edge of the bed and reaches for her hand as Tina moves past her. Tina stops and they look at each other for a long moment.
(Bette) Tee, I’ve never pushed you. I’m still not pushing you
Tina looks back at her.
(Tina) I know that
Bette pulls her closer, placing her hands on Tina’s hips. She leans in and kisses her gently on the stomach as she moves her arms around Tina’s waist. Bette looks up at her.
(Bette) Please stay
Bette kisses her again on the stomach and pulls her closer.
(Bette) Just talk to me
Tina buries her hands in Bette’s hair as Bette leans her cheek against her, and they hold one another close. Tina speaks to her softly.
(Tina) Bette, we’ve taken this too far. I’ve known that for a while, and I’m sorry I’ve let it keep going. I shouldn’t have
Bette looks up at her, and Tina looks down and meets her gaze.

No no it can’t end this way. But i agree with Bette that she shouldn’t contact Tina, let Tina contact Bette and stop running away. They are clearly in love with each other and i don’t know why Tina is so against commitment and a relationship but i hope she will think about it hard and reach out to Bette. It would break my heart if Bette is going to move on.
Looking forward to the next chapter.
I agree wholeheartedly with Bibi’s Comment.
Bette should not contact Tina. Please do not let this be the end.
Post more soon.

This is Tina’s panic and her reaction to her own feelings for Bette. So she calls it off. Okay. I cannot imagine that Tina is really happy with her decision. I cannot imagine that she does not fall asleep every night without thinking about Bette. Time for Tina to decide if she is really happy with a series of meaningless relationship for the rest of her days or something meaningful which she obviously has with Bette. Bette should not contact Tina. If she does not hear from Tina within a month or so, then sit down and write her a letter expressing how much she enjoyed their time together. Then say good bye and wish her well. Something short, sweet and to the point. Perhaps this will give Bette closure on this episode in her life.
Thanks for the chapter…
Is Tina sick or something? Is she dying and will only live 10yrs?? Whyyyyyy so scared to commit???? C’mon Tee!! Come back!
Thanks, K! Been checkin’ everyday for new chaps. :)
Oh please don’t let this be the end. I love this story. Tina need to realize what’s she’s walked away from.
