    Ranch house upstairs, afternoon: Kit is showing the house to Tina. They walk upstairs and enter a large bedroom with a cathedral ceiling, a fireplace, and a king size bed with bed posts and headboard made of a large tree trunk. The room is immaculately clean.

    Kit – This is my bedroom! I live here full time so I get the bigger room.

    Tina – It’s amazing, Kit! If you don’t mind, we will try to replicate the décor.

    Kit – Sure!

    The blonde takes pictures of the room. She looks out the large windows facing the forest.

    Tina – Very serene …

    Kit – I did find my peace here, that’s for sure!

    Ranch house upstairs, afternoon: Kit is showing the house to Tina. They follow the open hallway and Kit points to the other rooms.

    Kit – These are two guest bedrooms.

    They look inside the first guest bedroom and then the second guest bedroom. Tina takes pictures. Kit makes her way to the last room.

    Kit – And the last one is Bette’s room.

    She opens the door.

    Tina – Does she not mind?

    The ranch owner chuckles.

    Kit – She won’t mind if she doesn’t know!

    The blonde smiles and they go inside.

    Bette’s bedroom, afternoon: Kit and Tina step into Bette’s bedroom. The room is as beautiful as the others, with a fireplace, large bed and a tall ceiling, but a little smaller and cozier than Kit’s. The large windows facing North and Northwest, show an even more beautiful view of the valley and the mountains in the distance. On the corner of the room, in front of the windows, a canvas rests on a wooden easel, next to a small table containing pencils, brushes, various bottles of paint, a paint palette, a towel and other items, more or less in disarray.  The canvas is covered with a white cloth. Tina studies the corner with interest. She looks surprised.

    Kit – Well, we clean the room, but we can’t touch her little messy corner over there!

    Tina – So she is a painter!

      I’m currently discovering this other story, being “orphan” from your After The Kiss *wink* and I’m already hooked !

      You have a truly cinematic eye – and I’m a huge cinema passionate. I can see Kit’s ranch and every details as if I was admiring them through Tina’s eyes and, well, to imagine Bette as a cowgirl is very sexy, I must say !
      Since I adore western movies, I cannot help but remembering the great Missy, my favorite classic actress : pretty fiery, even arrogant but mesmerizing too – our poor Tina has no chance to resist !

      Thank you so very much for this new delightful journey, my dear writer :-)

        • Yes indeed !
          Well, what can I say ? “Cowgirl” immediately makes me think about Stanwyck in one of her westerns (like The Furies, The Moonlighter or Forty Guns) – even if this marvelously versatile actress was great in every other movie genres possible *wink*
          And, well, her voice is the sexiest I have ever heared… Not a beauty but what a charm – more dangerous, the charm !

          So now that you already know two of my absolute favorite ladies, Jennifer Beals and “Missy”, I five your the last two : my first teenage crush, Vivien Leigh, and my biggest screen crush ever, Kate Winslet :-)
