    She watched Nathan make his way toward the dance floor where Kit was currently holding her arms out for him. “And she just blurted that out?” Alice, not missing a beat continued their conversation as if it had never stopped. “Yeah” Carmen smiled when she recalled the simple yet effective words Shane had said earlier,

    “And she just blurted that out?” Alice, not missing a beat continued their conversation as if it had never stopped.

    “Yeah” Carmen smiled when she recalled the simple yet effective words Shane had said earlier, “I think she has baby fever”

    “That’s insane. I never thought I’d see the day” Alice couldn’t help but laugh as she took a swig of her champagne.

    “See what day?”

    Jan approached the duo with a quizzical look on her face.

    “Shane wants a baby”

    The statement Alice offered so matter-of-factly left Jan without words. She looked to Carmen for confirmation who was currently rolling her eyes.

    As if she hadn’t just dropped a major piece of news on her friend, Alice brought her champagne glass to her lips. Carmen snatched it out of her hands before she could even take a sip.

    “Hey!”

    Carmen pointed an accusatory finger at her as she took a swig of the champagne, savoring the crisp liquid as it traveled down her throat.

    “You don’t deserve this”

    Alice’s jaw dropped as she watched Carmen down the rest of her champagne, oblivious to the fourth person that joined their newly formed circle.

    “What’s going on here?”

    Jan turned to the beautiful woman at her side who was handing her a glass of champagne. Still unsure if she had Alice correctly in the first place, she simply shrugged.

    “Just Alice being Alice”

    “Makes sense” The woman chuckled, the sexy sound making Jan’s heart skip a beat.

    As if in tune with Jan’s thoughts and emotions, the woman’s smile widened before she leaned in to place a loving kiss on Jan’s cheek.

    “You two are so cute” Carmen smiled as she took in the sight of friend and the newest addition to their little group.

    “Seriously” Alice agreed, having recovered from the tragedy of her champagne being stolen. “Who would have thought that you two would have hit it off after that day at the airport?”

    Jan smiled at the woman at her side and slipped an arm around her slender waist, “I’d like to think that Melissa spotting Angie that day was fate. So many lives were changed that day”

    4. Thank you for this story. I was sitting in my office today and reading this one over again. My boss wondered what had me so enthralled lol. I love a happy Tibette ending. It’s something so special about these two. I love them. Inexplicably, because of all the challenges that come their way. They always overcome and that’s what truly matters.
