“You made a real mess of my girl here Spence,” He says before kissing my cheek and licking the ice cream off it. I do believe she’s about to kill me.

“Uh oh,” She says, “What will happen when big brother and mommy dearest find out?”

I take one last look at Spencer through the back window, trying to get her to open the door, or at least look at me, but she keeps staring straight ahead. I roll my eyes and hop in the front seat.

“Spence…Spencer, wait,”

“Spencer are you seriously telling me you want me to keep seeing your brother when you’re my girlfriend?”

Ashley is a little…hot. To say the least…

Guess….

“You seem to be having a little trouble completing your thoughts Miss Davies.”

Oh. My. God. Did that actually just happen? She was naked. Ashley Davies, naked, mere feet away from me. This girl is going to be the death of me.

“MmmMmm,” She says, biting down gently on my bottom lip. “No talking” I really don’t want her to stop, and maybe our talk can wait. Then she rocks her hips into mine, making me groan and I completely agree with her. “Okay,” I gasp, “No talking.”

“I said ‘I love you.'”

Ashley Davies may love games, but what she doesn’t know is that I can play them too, and I’m a lot better at them than she is.

So I’ve been doing what Spencers do best. I’m faking everything

“Ashley?” I say shakily into the phone, my voice betraying the tears welling up in my eyes. “Will you come get me?”

If someone told me last week that next Friday I would be lying in my now-ex boyfriend’s bushes, with my best friend lying on top of me, and that I would be dying to kiss her – for the second time- I would have said that….

“Good night Ashley.” And then she’s gone.

But even though I know this is wrong and whatever, I can’t help it, it’s like I’m drawn to her.

And then I walk out of my door and go downstairs, where I will lie awake on the couch for the entire night thinking about her, while she lies awake in my bed for the entire night, thinking about me.

Because I don’t have feelings for her. I can’t, right?

“Until you know how this drug will affect you, you should not operate heavy machinery, drive a vehicle, or get into a hot tub with your scantily clad girlfriend. Other possible side effects may occur.”

Long term side effects may also occur….

She thought they were for headaches….
